Role - Lead Graphic and Marketing Designer Off and Online
The “Israel Philharmonic Orchestra [IPO]” is a symphony orchestra with its principal concert venue being the Haichal HaTarbut in Tel Aviv. It was founded in 1936 as the “Palestine Symphony Orchestra” at a time of the dismissal of many Jewish musicians from European orchestras, and was awarded the Israel Prize, in music, in 1958 - making it the first organization ever to win the prize.
The IPO was one of the biggest, most prestigious clients of “Studio David Haliva” providing a continuous flow of assignments to the boutique design studio, and proposing a multitude of design challenges daily. Every campaign needed to succeed in print and digital format, be conclusive in the design language from the smallest newspaper advertisement to the biggest flags and banners, and have a coherent visual identity in both the English and Hebrew languages, and be attractive to young and old audiences the same.
I worked closely together with the IPO marketing department to create all visual assets needed for the visual campaigns highlighting each concert,- while designing according to the set brand guidelines. Translating the essence of the different concerts into visual assets with a very short deadline, demanding clients & different publishers, and a high visibility product, taught me to be professional and showed me early in my career how exciting and inspiring the job I am doing is. See the advertisement campaigns live on the streets and seeing the general public's reaction pushed me to excel and fed me with new ideas and creative energy.
