Role - Technical Flat Sketches & Digital Designer
Hed Mayner is an Israeli fashion designer whose menswear collections are shown regularly at Paris fashion week. Mayners’ collections focus on a substantial and stylish wardrobe of everyday separates.
His debut collection emphasizes comfort and self-expression, while underlining the universal appeal of archetypal clothes.
As illustrative lead director, my work included providing creative solutions with short deadlines and working side by side together with Hed Mayner. After finishing my workday at studio David Haliva, I would head straight to Heds’ atelier, where I translated pencil sketches into precise graphic Illustrations for production in the factory for two consecutive seasons, with designs appearing in the men’s Paris Fashion Week 2018 and 2020.
In 2019 Hed Mayner was the first winner of the Karl Lagerfeld LVMH Prize: “Looking at Hed Mayner’s fall collection, you get the sense that—despite all the attention that comes with an LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers—he’s still able to preserve his headspace. Working from Tel Aviv helps, he acknowledged; he can concentrate on what he’s doing and dip in and out of Paris as he wishes.” - by Tina Isaac-Goizé. Vogue
