The Jerusalem International Writers Festival is an annual festival taking place at the Mishkenot Sha’ananim Cultural Center in Jerusalem, Israel. The Jerusalem International Writers Festival was first held in 2008 and was a biennial event until 2018, when it was decided to hold it on a yearly basis.
While working as a young Designer at the boutique design studio David Haliva in Tel Aviv I had the opportunity to work closely together with the marketing department of Mishkenot Sha’ananim on creating the campaign for The Jerusalem International Writers Festival 2019.
The mission was to create a fresh and clean new look while working within the given graphic language of the brand. In between short deadlines and communicating with different teams and publishers, I was able to create a new visual identity for the year’s edition. Working with different design systems, multiple formats [digital & print], and motion graphics taught me to not be afraid to make my professional voice heard and prepared me to set up my own projects in the time following.
